Stanley Coopersmith is one of life’s natural born losers, bullied and despised by his peers. When he discovers a book containing an evil incantation which he deciphers using his computer the tables are turned as an ancient evil is revived by Coopersmith’s dabbling with the evil text.

One of the notorious Nasties, Evilspeak was brutally mauled by the BBFC. Being a dark tale of satanic revenge and ritual at a time when America was losing their shit over backwards messages and the UK was concerned with Satanic abuse it was no wander this brutal but largely benign film was treated so badly, even if it did star Clint Howard of ‘Gentle Ben’ fame.
