A night of violence unravels to reveal brutal crimes including the rape of a young woman. With the scenes played in reverse order, the nights events reveal not only the crime but what was destroyed by it. Gaspar Noe’s violent and disturbing shocker is certainly controversial not least because of a perceived homophobia so be aware that this may contain some difficult subject matter.
